Noé Reinhardt, Sébastien Giniaux, Adrien Moignard, Rocky Gresset, Richard Manetti and Benoît Convert all gathered around a vintage 1946 Selmer guitar, serial #607.
100 years after Django Reinhardt's birth - he played the Selmer #503 - this new gypsy swing generation is now the jazz guitar cutting edge.
For the second record, the great Stochelo Rosenberg got into the the game... One legendary guitar, one tight rhythm section, one day in the studio : for everything else, carte blanche!
You'll find high class gypsy swing and wonders in their albums. From Coltrane to Cole Porter, from Gershwin to Maurice Ravel, those young guitar masters know how to wander off the beaten tracks.

This Selmer guitar, serial #607, has been manufactured in september, 1946 and is by all means similar to Django Reinhardt's Selmer, the #503, exposed at 'La Cité de la Musique', in Paris.
" The Selmer guitar is, and for quite a while now, the preferred instrument for gypsy swing musicians.
It became the absolute reference because Django adopted it. It is now part of his style. All guitarists playing this style of music then dreamed of having one or even playing one. Some had this chance, the others played the numerous copycats made since the mid 30's.
And the magic works here with the Selmer, serial #607 of 1946, used on this record. Listen closely, and the presence of this guitar will be just an evidence. It's tone, depth, precision make it unique and among the best of it's kind.
Whoever the solo player on this record, the Sound is here, as the myth."
